It turns out that my antivirus, Bitdefender, was blocking certain websites that were hosing javascripts used for the login forms, making the form fail on submission. I tried to add them as exclusions but I think there's too many URLs to add (or the free edition of Bitdefender doesn't handle exclusions very well) so I ended up just uninstalling I got the spinning login circle of doom, then did a flushdns and made sure the GW2 processes weren't running. Hey all, there is a problem where I can't seem to get this game to display on full screen probably again, without the black bars on both side of the screen. My screen seems to be squished in and I have no idea how this happened. I have been playing since Tuesday on full screen In the end it sounds that you should search on that browsers Help or Support forum to find out if there will be more people that have the same type of issue like you do have and nothing that are related to GW2 account or this forum site. Raid night in my guild was a disaster. There have been some instances in wvw too. I'm sure it's driven very few people off the game, but it worries me that it's still ongoing.
